High above the vines with sweeping valley, mountain, and river views, the Clos Ostler Vineyard Suites offer a unique opportunity to experience the landscape that shapes each vintage. Designed for privacy and immersion, each off-grid suite pairs contemporary design with refined interiors, inspired by the colours, textures, and seasons of the Waitaki. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw the vineyard and valley into every space, creating a stronger connection to place.

  • Clos Ostler is a private, family-owned vineyard located on a north-facing limestone escarpment in New Zealand's Waitaki Valley, just 10 minutes from Kurow and 5 minutes from Duntroon. The nearest regional airports include Timaru and Dunedin, with international access available via Queenstown and Christchurch.

    • Two-night minimum stay applies in peak season 

    • Sleeps up to two guests. Super king available for a twin bedding configuration. 

    • Self-check-in is from 3:00–8:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

    • Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. 

    • Activities and excursions, gourmet platters, Clos Ostler wines are available at an additional cost.
