BAY OF ISLANDS PARASAILING

Parasailing is an airborne adventure that absolute beginners can enjoy without having to be strapped to an instructor. It is a flying experience that promises blockbuster views of the surrounding Bay of Islands area and enough adrenalin to keep you buzzing for the whole day. Most people choose a flight to 800 feet, but you can fly as high as 1200 feet. Getting dunked in the water is optional.
Some operators offer a tandem parasailing experience, so that you can ascend with a friend. Age is no barrier, although children below a certain weight need to be accompanied by an adult. Parasailing is often achievable for disabled people.
Flying Kiwi Parasail is a locally owned & operated family business since 1998 and New Zealand’s highest Parasail at 1300ft. At Flying Kiwi Parasail we always put safety first - all of our captains and crew have undertaken extensive parasailing specific training. Gentle take off & landings are from the rear deck of our purpose-built MOSS certified Parasail boats – there’s no getting wet. Parasail flights can be a peaceful, soaring experience or hang upside down in our custom-made harnesses for the adrenaline version.
