Are you able to access The Lindis by vehicle?

Yes, you can access The Lindis by vehicle. You will drive down a gravel road to reach the lodge, however a 4WD vehicle is not necessarily required for the journey, but is recommended during the winter months. There is a likelihood of snow and frost on the roads. Alternatively, you can hire chains from many convenient locations in Queenstown, Wanaka, Dunedin, and Christchurch.

Do you provide transfers?

Transfers are not included in our nightly rate, however we offer both vehicle and helicopter private transfers at an additional cost from Queenstown, Wanaka and Christchurch. We can arrange transfers from other locations if necessary.

Please enquire for a quote.

Do you have a charging station for electronic vehicles?

We have many guests that travel to The Lindis in electric vehicles.

We have a power outlet with an 230v system conveniently available for guests to use during their stay. This would still require your own connector.

Alternatively, there is a Tesla Charging station about 50mins from The Lindis in Omarama. Please see link below for the directions and further information.

Are children welcome at The Lindis?

Unfortunately, we do not accommodate to children under 12 years old. This is due to our remote and rugged location. We are situated on top of a hill, with no fencing surrounding the lodge so there are safety concerns.

Children under the age of 12 are accommodated with an exclusive full property buyout.

Children aged 12 and above and occupying a room with a full paying adult will be charged an additional $600 inc GST per night including an additional foldaway bed.

Are pets allowed at The Lindis?

We do not allow any pets at The Lindis. This is to protect the natural plant and wildlife, as well as considering the comfort of other guests.

What meals are included in the nightly rate?

All meals are included in your nightly rate. This includes:

- Daily breakfast

- Daily lunch: choice of light lunch or packed lunch

- Daily pre-dinner drinks & canapés

- Daily multi course dinner
