LONG BEACH (ONEROA) – RUSSELL

Long Beach Russell is well known for its safe swimming beach. Perfect for families. The Beach is quite long, representing the name. A round trip, walking end to end is around 30 minutes. A road runs along the shore line and you can park your car at any point along the beach.

The beach includes a public reserve under huge Norfolk Pines (planted in 1830’s), a boat ramp and diving pontoon. Orca whales and dolphins can often be spotted from the shore.

ELLIOT BAY – NEAR RUSSELL

Elliot Bay is a surf beach and is a little more rugged and exposed than the calmer Russell beaches listed above, but has beautiful white sand.

OKE BAY – CAPE BRETT PENINSULA
