Getting to The Lindis
The Lindis is located on Ben Avon Station which occupies 6,500 acres within the Ahuriri Valley. You can access The Lindis by vehicle travelling down Birchwood Road, or by helicopter flying over the nearby ranges before landing at our onsite heli pad.
Birchwood Road is gravel road that is regularly maintained. Access by 4WD is recommended but not essential. Care and caution must be taken when accessing The Lindis by vehicle.

TRAVELLING VIA VEHICLE
From Queenstown
The Lindis is roughly 2.5 hours via vehicle from Queenstown Airport. Travel north through either Cromwell or Wānaka, continue through The Lindis Pass before turning onto Birchwood Road.
Rental cars are available at the Queenstown Airport.
From Christchurch
The Lindis is roughly 4.5 hours via vehicle from Christchurch Airport. Travel south through either Oamaru or Lake Tekapo, continue past Omarama before turning onto Birchwood Road.

From Dunedin
The Lindis is roughly 4 hours via vehicle from Dunedin Airport. Travel through either Roxburgh or Oamaru, continue past Omarama before turning onto Birchwood Road.
