Andy, tell us about your role and what you do at The Lindis?

My role at The Lindis Lodge is Activity Manager, catering to guests needs on a daily basis to ensure they get the best out of our activities during their stay at the lodge.

Tell us about your previous experience and background.

My previous experience within the lodge industry has been similar roles and front of house roles at other lodges over the past decade. I have over 100 days logged tramping and exploring South Island New Zealand Valleys. I have a passion for New Zealand ecology.

What is your favourite thing to do onsite or in the area?

My favourite thing to do onsite is to show guests around Ben Avon and the Ahuriri Valley, and to take in the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Lastly, what do you love most about New Zealand?

I love New Zealand because of all the public land we can explore, there is always another valley to walk up to and another hut to stay in, this country is inherently spectacular.
